Activism can be done on many levels. This one is a great campaign to get involved with on any level and still make a direct impact. A Cup of Green has committed to participate in this campaign in support of Invisible Children. If our followers only watch the video and then pass it on that will be a start but the objective is to do something global for the dedicated group trying to make this happen.

On January 31, family farmers will take part in the first phase of a court case filed to protect farmers from genetic trespass by Monsanto’s GMO seed, which contaminates organic and non-GMO farmer’s crops and opens them up to abusive lawsuits. On Wednesday, September 28, 2010, the Ontario government won its appeal against biodynamic farmer, Michael Schmidt. The appeal reversed the former ruling, which confirmed cow share members’ right to obtain raw milk products. Justice Peter Tetley rejected Schmidt’s argument that providing raw milk to cow share owners who are aware of any health risks was his legal right.
